You have high reaches, reaches and matches but no safety schools. As an OOS student there is no financial aid at the UC’s so they are financially out of reach.

GPA avg: 92.5?

Convert to weighted and unweighted 4.0 scale so we know what you’re talking about.

You have a number of OOS publics, can you afford the costs?

You won’t get any funding from the California publics.

Stanford: Reach for all applicants and extremely low acceptance rate
USC/UCB/UCLA: Reach due to low acceptance rates for CS.

Agree with other posters, no financial aid for the UC’s so expect full fees at $60K/year.

You need some solid Match and Safety schools first then pick a few Reach schools to complete your list.

Low GPA and SAT score makes everything except UIUC, Boston University and Northeastern University reaches. Stanford is probably out of reach. You are out of state for most of these schools, which will definitely not help you much. Good luck!

@“aunt bea” yeah :frowning: i think we can manage it though

@TheComeUp sorry, I believe that should be around a 3.7 or 3.8

@Gumbymom Yeah I certainly agree. I just left them out for this post.

@sparkykoolkat I’m thinking about leaving my SAT score out but I certainly agree.

thank you everyone! :slight_smile:
