<p>I don’t know that much about those schools, but I can tell you that your high school stats will really hold you back. When looking at applicants for Sophomore year, many schools only take students who would have been strong freshman applicants, and your SATs are an issue.
It’ll be awesome if you can really get that 4.0, but to be honest, a lot of people come on here and assume a 4.0 freshman year. Generally, that’s pretty difficult to achieve.</p>
<p>You’ll have a better shot if you apply for junior year (your high school stats will matter less), and maintain a 3.75+ GPA. By all means apply this year if you’re willing to spend the money, but if you’re set on transferring this year, add some lower-ranked schools.</p>
