What are my chances to be accepted?

I will be applying for Fall 2011 transfer this coming September from my local community college. Wisconsin is my #1 choice and dream school, I would absolutely attend if accepted. I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of how I stand for admission..

I am an OOS Asian student from Southern California. I will have 60 semester units by end of summer (taking classes now). I'm majoring in Business but I understand I need to wait a semester or so before eligible to apply to the Business school at Wisconsin. My CC GPA is a 4.0 and should be a 4.0 by end of summer. I have tons of EC's but also have a lot of work experience since I took time off from school...

Hope this help!

Hard to imagine you not getting in. Average transfer gpa is around 3.5. They want more transfers–lots more. I think anyone 3.5 or over is in.

Just boost your 4.0 GPA to a…oh.

EC’s are not expected for college students like they are for HS students. Your gpa counts and is great.

Once you transfer to UW-Madison, you will need some ECs if you plan on applying to the business school. On the application, you will need to list and explain 3 (or more) on campus activities.

Here is some transfer information for the Wisconsin School of Business (requirements depend on when you began college):
