What are my chances to get in?

I am interested in attending the University of Michigan. I am a middle-class white student from Minnesota.

GPA: 3.85 unwieghted, will be higher since UM doesn't count 9th grade - probably about 3.9
ACT: 34 (33 E & R, 35 M, 36 S)
PSAT: 221 (hopefully will be a Finalist)
SATII:
----Phys: 710 (plan to retake, I didn't know a lot because my school doesn't offer an AP Physics class and some of the subjects on the test weren't taught in my class - I should have studied and will this time so I will score much higher)
----Math II: 770
----World History: 750
AP Tests:
----World History: 3
----U.S. History: 3
----Spanish: 2 (yeah... that was a disappointment)
----Statistics: 5
Extra Curriculars:
----Science Olympiad: 3 years, placed 1st in a regional competition and 8th and 9th in the state competition
----Quiz Bowl: 2 years, member of it since it's beginning at our school - qualified for and attended the National competition in Chicago
----Math League: 2 years, member of it since it's beginning at our school
----National Honor Society

ur in.

10 char

Yes, you chances are excellent. You probably also have a decent shot as some decent merit money. Apply EA. It is not binding and will put you in a good spot for scholarship consideration.

Safety , and Michigan doesn't look at SAT 2 so the Physics score is allright.

I forgot to say that I only got an 8 on the Writing section of the ACT and my class rank is only 19th out of 189. Does that impact my chances?

I would try and improve your class rank and then apply. I think you are in either way, but if you can get your rank up, you might have a shot at merit money. Waiting a few months might be worth it.
