can i get chanced for:
UCLA, UCB, UCSD
Uchicago, UPenn, Harvard, Stanford, Yale, Princeton, MIT, Brown, Cornell, Columbia, Northwestern

thanks again for reading through my lengthy post

bumpski!!!

UCLA- match
UCB- I don’t know what school this is, sorry.
UCSD- full ride
Uchicago- reach
UPenn- reach
Harvard- high reach
Stanford- high reach
Yale- high reach
Princeton- high reach
MIT- high reach
Brown- reach/high reach
Cornell- reach
Columbia- high reach
Northwestern- reach

It’s very hard since most of your stats are very similiar to many applicants. Yet, I do think you’re doing a very good job and you will get accepted to at least some of these schools. Good luck :).

UCB is uc berkeley, ty for imput

You need to up those SAT scores! You’re asian!

yes; but to most colleges im just going to send my act and satII’s, and a score of 34 is pretty good

UCLA- high match
UCB- match
UCSD- high match
Uchicago- reach
UPenn- high reach
Harvard- high reach
Stanford- high reach
Yale- high reach
Princeton- high reach
MIT- high reach
Brown- low reach
Cornell- low reach
Columbia- high reach
Northwestern- reach

You need to raise your SAT score, and well, if you could do something about your ECs, that’d be great, but considering that you don’t have a lot of time left, I’m not sure if that’s possible. Just write great essays and have good LOR, and you will have done all that you could have.

UC’s-probably all in

HYPSM-rank and scores not competitive

Other ivies-Would need the 2200 w/1500 plus CR/M and a great application that sets you apart from demographic

NU, Chicago-50/50

Holy Cross and Bowdoin are 2 great schools and easier to get accepted to. Holy Cross has a very good alumni network and nice location-1 hour from Boston.

ok guys pretend that i never took the SAT, and that all i have to go on is my ACT. for the universitys that allow score choice, im only sending ACT+sat2

My assessment would remain the same.

You need to take a breather. i will be a junior next year, and i was freaken out about my chances as well. Then i realized that I have given everything my all, and its the quality not the quantity of your involvment. I still posted a bunch of Q’s just to get feedback, but all of the advice shouldnt deter you at all. You seem like an accomplished student, and colleges will respect that. Interviews are key in my opinion, so request them when possible. Bottom line: give it your best shot, ask the proffesionals the Q’s, and remember you can get where you want to go in life no matter what college you attend. that is how i decided to look at things now b/c after a certain point it is out of my control.

haha i would still go ahead and send your SAT score. if you’re majoring in economics, colleges will love the 800 on math (*** happened with reading lol). Seriously, 2130 isn’t even that bad. The 800 on math is a nice asset to have for your major. If you had something around a 500 in one of the sections, then I would omit the scores completely. However, a 2130 isn’t the end of the world. I’m pretty sure that’s good for schools like ucla, ucsd, and cornell (yeah, lowest average SAT scores of the ivies). Good luck, I’m rooting for you (1st gen taiwanese junior here)
