Asian

No ECs lol

no ecs are gonna hurt your chances. ucs don’t super score  what’s your UC gpa? i’d say it’s a high match…

chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1225356-compsci-schools-students-bad-stats-like-me-uc-chancers-please-look.html</a></p>

I have a 3.9 UC GPA

If you are in the top 5% that means you are also an ELC candidate, correct? Last year, being ELC meant auto-entry into UCI (as long as certain conditions were met). I think you will be accepted. Agree, not having ECs won’t enhance your application. Did/do you have a job? Do you do any tutoring? Volunteering, etc.?

[University of California - California residents](http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/freshman/california-residents/index.html)
Believe it is 9%. Even though a UC admission is guaranteed, campus of your choice is not. I would honestly think of ECs. What did you do over summer? Even if you took care of family stuff/had a job, that is still an EC.

Yeah, I signed a paper for that ELC thing. Not sure exactly how it works though. I have a class rank of 26 (rank 28 for 10-12) in a class size of 610.

Also, yeah no ECs… I’m a bit of a shut-in.

Make sure you have a good essay and you’ll probably get in with ELC.

You have a terrific chance at UCI, even with no EC’s
