Your grades mean nothing to me. What is your approximate GPA UW out of 4 or class rank? Bring your test scores up. Admissions officers will scoff at your application the way it is right now.

For a sophmore your on the right track, you should try and get your SAT 1 score to at least 2200 which u are pretty close to as is, and you need to get close to a 4.0 unweighted your junior year, your on the right track, have fun, its high school, and study hard.

Totally depends on where you rank in the class (they know) and who else is applying from youir schools and NY schools like it. They will each take only so many Asian males from NYC magnmet schools. It's a tough pool.

true, it's becoming increasingly diffuicult for Asians due to the rise in competition and all that, but if you can keep up the gradesI think you'll have a good chance.

keep those grades up, do some research, win some math team awards (whats the possibility that you'll be made captain in a couple of years?) a good number of math team captains from stuy make MIT statistically speaking (though i wasnt even on math team and i made H,S,M). but without giving away any names, the math team captains i know are going to H,P,M,M,M,M.

if you look at the stuy admissions stats, harvard loves high GPAs, as in 96+, whereas mit has a wider range, so keep that in mind.
