What are my chances: UAlbany and Binghamton

<p>Hey guys what are my chances of getting into SUNY University at Albany and SUNY Binghamton University?
Here are my stats:</p>

<p>Academic--
87.42% Average
SAT: M-670 V-570 W-570
Rank: Dont know yet
Senior Course Load: AP Calculus AB, AP Economics, AP Statistics, Government Honors, English Honors.
Throughout my Freshman, Sophmore, and Junior year I have been in at least one honors class.</p>

<p>Activities—
Grade 9
• Tech Team – Fixed computers around the school. (10 hours a week)
• Senior Orchestra – played the tenor saxophone in school based musical shows and events
• Web Team – Created the School Website (<a href="http://www.ms67.org%5B/url%5D"&gt;www.ms67.org&lt;/a&gt;)&lt;/p>

<p>Grade 10
• Muslim Student Association (Treasurer) – Promote public awareness about Islam. Create unity amongst the Muslim community in my high school. (3 hours a week)
• Key Club – series of community service events. (1 hour a week)
• Intermediate Band – played the tenor saxophone in school based musical shows and events</p>

<p>Grade 11
• Muslim Student Association (Treasurer) – Promote public awareness about Islam. Create unity amongst the Muslim community in my high school. (3 hours a week)
• South Asian Culture Club (President and Founder) – Create unity amongst the South Asian community in my high school. Students who participate in this club are very social and dedicate plenty of time to enhance the community through a series of community service events. (10+ hours a week)
• Key Club – series of community service events. (1 hour a week)
• Future Business Leaders of America – This club is dedicated to members of the student body who wish to pursue a career in business. This club prepares you for the business world by having its members contend in competitive business oriented events such as economic competitions, impromptu speaking, mock job place interviews, and state leadership conferences. (1 hour a week)
• Cardozo Leaders – This group of talented students do an extra period of Physical Education service to help the physical education staff. These select few students who are admitted into the Leaders Program, demonstrate physical fitness and leadership characteristics. Cardozo Leaders help not only themselves but also their peers excel.
• Participated in College Now at Queens College – College Now is a program that allows high school students to take college level classes at the Queens College campus and earn college credit. I have earned 3 college credits by taking Psychology 101.</p>

<p>Grade 12

• I have developed an exceptional skill at playing the Tenor Saxophone over a period of 5 years. (7th grade – 11th grade)

• Managerial Internship at Banjara Restaurant (97 1st Ave, New York 10003) (January 2005-February 2005)
• Accounting Internship at Mitali East Restaurant (336 E. 6 St., New York 10003) (March 2005-June 2005)
• Web Admin for All Star Entertainment – Manage web-sites for large events such as Project Puerto Rico (<a href="http://www.projectpuertorico.com%5B/url%5D"&gt;www.projectpuertorico.com&lt;/a&gt;) and other events hosted by All Star Entertainment (a tri-state promotional team that targets the South Asian community to take part in social events <a href="http://www.asenyc.com%5B/url%5D"&gt;www.asenyc.com&lt;/a&gt;) (8th grade – 12th grade)</p>

<p>I would greatly appreciate it if someone would let me know what my chances of getting into SUNY Albany and Binghamton are. Thanks</p>

<p>I think you have a decent shot at Albany- not so sure about Bing. You are within reach, but as there are so many well qualified applicants, one never knows. I suggest you get your SUNY application in ASAP and maybe designate your top choice as EA or ED. I believe Albany is EA. I don't know what Bing is. Good luck. U. Buffalo also has a good business program. If you can afford the extra $40- just list it on the same SUNY application and apply there too.</p>

<p>Yes I am aware of Binghamtons and Buffalos business programs. It is wayyy too cold in buffalo for comfort and its extremely boring in binghamton. UAlbany is my primary choice. :) Thanks.. any other suggestions?</p>
