I’m just trying to see how I would fare if I applying to these schools. Thanks for the help!

Since you are out of state you will be full pay at the UC’s. Can your parents afford $60,000/year for 4 years?

The UC’s do not give financial aid to OOS students.

My parents are able to pay $60,000/year for 4 years. @TomSrOfBoston

California will love you.

If you can also chance me for Emory University and USC, it would be appreciated. Thank you.

go to OSU!!!
u will save so much money which u can use if u go to med school (less debt)
also Ohio is less competitive than UCs which are crazy for premed.
STAY IN STATE

UC-Berkeley- High Match/ Low Reach
UCLA- High Match/ Low Reach
UC Santa Barbara- Match
UNC-CH- Low Reach/ Reach
UVA- Low Reach/ Reach
Emory- Reach
USC- Low Reach/ Reach
I assume these are all RD. Which ones are you applying early to?

on a seperate note:
UC GPA kinda low and SAT is good and ECs are good
UCLA- reach
UCB- reach
-these shcools are reach for all
Emory-reach
UNC- reach- ur OOS
UVA- reach- pretty similar to UCLA
USC- low reach?
UCSB- high match?/ low reach due to lower GPA

I’ll apply Early Action to all the schools that have it. I don’t think I would apply Early Decision to any of these.

UPDATE: I completely screwed up my UC GPA.

UC GPA: 4.083

Ayee! Representing Ohio as well, you seem to be good for all these schools, good luck!

Freshman admit rates for UC GPA of 3.80-4.19:

UCB: 14%
UCLA: 14%
UCSD: 44%
UCSB: 54%
UCD: 58%
UCI: 65%
UCSC: 85%
UCR: 94%
UCM: 96%

How about Wake Forest or University of Rochester? I just got rid of some schools off my list, and I’m trying to find other schools that may be a good fit.
