What are my chances: University of Minnesota

I am an in state resident in Minnesota and am currently a high school senior. I have already applied to the U, today actually, and was wondering my chances.

I scared a 26 composite score on my ACT
26 - Math
25 - English
30- Reading
22 - Science

I am enrolled in all AP and honors classes, throughout my whole high school career. My GPA is a strong 3.9, and I have taken four college classes. Adding to that, I am also in the top 15% of my class.

Activities wise, I am in National Honor Society, Link Crew, Music Listening, many orchestra and choir groups, involved in the winter musicals, and have community service.

I took a lot of time on my application and wrote out many things about myself. I am interested in CLA and wise to major in Global Studies. What would be my chances of getting in?

Also, does anyone know when acceptance letters will be sent out?

You are 100% in.

There is an off chance your might be wait listed with your 25th percentile ACT. Consider trying to raise it to a 28 or so , it should not take too much effort, and you have plenty of time. If you can get it to the 32+ range, you would be in the ballpark for merit scholarships.

I wouldn’t expect to hear back until February. You should be able to track your application status on-line. Universities always seem to be missing something (transcripts, proof of citizenship, etc…) so you may need to do some folllow-up.
