Im currently a sophomore at an extremely competitive public magnet school (top 10 in the country, required IB porgram for juniors, vocational with focus in business and finance). Because of this, my GPA and class rank arent very high (I predict that my average GPA for all 4 years will be 3.5 at the max, which is around the bottom 30-40%). I have many extracurriculars though, almost Eagle Scout, DECA state finalist last year, county band acceptance, jazz band member, scholastic writing competition honorable mention, plan on joining track. I have started preparing for the CFA and by the time I take it in around 2 years will Hopefully have near-perfect scores. On practice SATs I got 1460 for the math and english sections, and plan on improving. What are my chances of getting into USMA at West Point, considering my low class rank/GPA and assuming I get substantially above-average scores on the CFA? Also, please provide me with any tips on how I can improve my chances of being accepted. Thank you so much for the help!
Also, I am a male and almost no one ever applies from my school to West Point. Only 11 in history ever applied, of which 7 were admitted. My school is also very small, with only 40 people in my grade with the same vocational focus ( although there are around 200 people total in my grade, but with different vocational focuses and are considered separate entities by colleges)
