<p>ur SATs are weak, but ur GPA seems fine. u need some good ECs and good essay to get in to those schools
I'd say the top UCs are slght reaches for you. but those top privates are reaches.</p>

<p>i'd put NYU and Michigan down in the "slight reach" category, although I think you have a decent chance at both</p>

<p>im depressed, my best SAT score from 1 sitting is 1880, and i thought u could take the best score in each category but my couselor said very few colleges do that
well should i take the SAT again, 4th time?
1st time-1740
2nd time-1880
3rd time-1860</p>

<p>Actually, my understanding is that most colleges take the best score in each category. I know that Harvard does. I have heard this directly from the adcom.</p>
