What are my chances yo????

Okay, here goes:

SAT: 2160 - 800 Math, 680 Writing, 670 Reading
Essays: VERY GOOD
REC: VERY GOOD
Counselor: VERY GOOD
GPA: 3.9 (ehh) cumulative, unweighted is about 3.85
Rank: Top 20% (I know not good)
EC: Swimmer (State level), Martial Artist (International championships), Speech (Awards- national level) , got about 20 clubs per high school year (including honor rolls and all that) , VERY heavy on volunteering, Working on an engineering project with a company that is funding me, national winner for NCWIT (computer science award), 4 internships (FOX, U of MN, TAGED), first place engineering fair, soccer (V), Cross country, track, dancing (Bollywood), etc

{I’m getting tired of typing, but all in all the EC are very heavy for me}

Female, biomed engineering and computer science.

Also went to three different high schools within the country.

So what are my chances of getting into Georgia Tech (i’m primarily concerned with that). Also, just for the heck of it, JHU, Emory, Stanford, Dartmouth, Cornell, MIT (interview went excellent), and Vanderbilt.

Thank You!!! Like I said, i’m primarily concerned with GTECH (i’m in state), but other colleges are appreciated as well!!

THANKS GUYS!

I’m pretty sure with your credentials Georgia Tech is a target. However with MIT, they expect perfection (my friend with a nearly perfect SAT score and stellar grades and extracurriculars got deferred from there). Good luck!

Although it isn’t too easy getting into Gtech, being in-state and a female STEM, along with your excellent scores… I’d personally say you have a fantastic shot of getting in. Nothing’s guaranteed but I’d be genuinely surprised if you weren’t considered.
As for the others, it’s really hard to say to be honest, but I think you should have some more matches and safeties, the others on the list are reaches. Have you considered LACs?

@syd1998 , Yeah, that’s the sad thing! But my friend got a 2030 and she is VERY SMART, but not a lot of AP classes (only 3 in her high school career). So I am just going to take the chance!! BUT THANKS SO MUCH!!

@AGoodFloridian , for a sec I thought your profile pic was from the Maze Runner, haha. I love the background!! THANK YOU!! I did not consider LAC’s cause I wanna stay in state- I 'm tired of moving around- just gotta stay I one place. Plus I wanna be close to my lil sis. On top of that, Georgia has this scholarship that essentially will make college free for me. So I can use that money for my Grad. That’s why I was concerned for GTECH, cause if I make into Tech, then I am just gonna go there. Plus, the campus is so Cool. Like a downtown to yourself! HAHA! Thanks for chancing me on Tech!!

Thank you guys for responding so quickly!!

@Xboxgamergirl Hahaha, it was taken at the Black Forest, in Germany. Beautiful place! But yes, all in all, Gtech and Emory are your best shots, you’re probably getting into both of them with that profile. Congrats on the hard work, and try to inspire any young girl who’s interested in STEM but feels as though it wouldn’t be “appropriate” for her. Some words can go a long way  Good luck!

I will certainly visit!! Awesome, thank you!! Will do, I am a very strong believer in all that. Sometimes just giving encouragement changes a persons life.
