What are my chances?

Hi, I'm applying to a lot of reach schools and I was wondering if I even have a chance of getting in or should I just save myself the couple hundred dollars.

I'm applying to:
UCLA
UC Berkeley
UCSD
UC Santa Barbara
USC
Yale
Columbia
Boston University Accelerated Med Program
Brown PLME
Northwestern
Washington in St. Louis Med Program

GPA (weighted 10-12): 4.31
GPA (weighted cumulative): 4.18
GPA (unweighted cumulative): 3.91

AP:
Bio - 5, Language & Comp - 5, Chem - 4, European History - 4

Senior Classes:

I have some really good letters of rec. but I don't think I have much of a shot at the accelerated programs.
Thank you anyone who could help me out -- you can be harsh, honesty is what I'm looking for.

You’re so great! i think ur going to get accepted everywhere :)))

I second the above
but Ivy is an Ivy and nothing is for sure…

Good luck!

Can you chance me back?

you are perfect match everywhere but the ivies are unpredictable have a safety chance me back http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1041167-chance-me-i-will-chance-you-back.html

Your stats look like a good match for WUSTL. However, if by Med, you mean the University Scholars Program (Dual admission to undergrad and the Medical School), then you are a reach (as is everyone else that applies to this highly competitive program).

A lot of these people are being overly generous in their comments. Most Ivy’s now are even tougher than you would expect. Your achievements and extracurriculars are great, but nothing noteworthy to set you above the rest of the the applicants. The only schools on your list that could be considered a guarantee are UCSD and USC. I dont mean to be a harbinger, but I say save your money unless you are well off

UCLA: in
UC Berkeley: in
UCSD: in
UC Santa Barbara: in
USC: in

Yale: reach
Columbia: reach
Brown: high match/low reach
Northwestern: high match/low reach
Washington in St. Louis: high match/low reach

You look awesome for all the UCs

I would say Yale and Columbia are reaches but only because they are pretty unpredictable.

Agree that you look great for all the UCs and USC.

The ivies are very tough for kids from CA without a hook. You have a shot but it will be tough without a stand out EC.

thanks everyone! :)
