What are my chances?

To cpelle88 and collegegurl4567,
Thanks so much for your input. It’s nice to know some people don’t think this school is a reach for me. When I heard that, I was pretty disappointed. But to hear all of this, has made my day. I know my SAT’s are alright I guess, but I’m going to try to get them up and take the ACT as well. I’m going to work my tail off to have a great application, and my recomendations will be spectacular. I’m getting one from my former English teacher, who is one of the best writers I’ve ever had the pleasure to read. Thanks again!!

And by any chance, does anyone know the admissions rate into CAS?

When do RD decisions come out??

I honestly don’t know I’m only a junior. I’m assuming around March

Just wondering, what program are you planning to apply to at BU? If you can actually get your SAT score higher, at least above 2000, there are many better schools that you can apply to. But I do know that BU does have a phenomenal Occupational Therapy program.

I’m most likely going to apply to CAS for poly sci and minor in possibly history or some business related minor. And I doubt I’ll get it over 2000. More like in 1800s range. Will I have to settle for CGS?

Sorry to rehash this oldish thread but, I just found out I got a 26 on my ACT. I’m obviously going to take it again, but does this help me or hurt me as of now?

You should also make sure that you have some extra-curriculars. Even the top universities deny perfect test score and grades if the applicant doesn’t have enough activities outside of grades

I believe I have a fair amount of extracurriculars, I just wanted to know based on my stats.
