What are my Chances?

I know 2013 sounds like it's far away for some but Junior year is coming fast so I personally need to see my options.

Starting next year I will be in the IB Programme in Florida. Currently my unweighted GPA is a 3.8, having my weighted GPA at 4.5. By the end of Senior Year I should have roughly 200+ service hours, graduate by being involved in school clubs, such as National Honor Society, French Honor Society, Beta Club, Best Buddies and InterACT. In addition I will have a total of 5 years studying the French language.

So should I apply for this school based on what I said? I'm guessing I would have to see what my SAT or ACT scores are.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

Out of state, well rounded, good grades. If you have a good SAT score (math in particular) you’ll do well. If you’re a girl, your in! If you’re a guy I’d recommend having a good backup. Just in case. Maintain everything over the next two years and you’ll get in!

It’s never too early to show interest. Come up to Atlanta and take a tour of the campus AND of the specific degree program. Maybe try to meet with your admissions person.

I’m definitely going to try and tour some campuses around the country in a few months. Thanks for your advice!

Like JB said, everything looks good so far. As long as you do well on the SAT, you shouldn’t have too much of a problem. Good luck in your search.

Thank You!
