What are my chances?

I plan on applying to Cornell this upcoming year. Right now I'm going into my senior year. I'm a white, middle class male from Arizona. So please tell me my chances if you can. Here are my stats:

GPA:
Junior year: 3.95
The other years I'm not sure of but I believe it's around a 3.7
AP tests:
World History-5
Chemistry-4
Euro-4
English Lit-3
English Lang-5
Bio-5
US history-5
Calc AB-5
Physics C: Mech-4 (self studied for this one)

My courses have been almost all honors and AP, except for my language class (chinese) and electives.

Test scores:
SAT
Reading:680
Math:670
Writing:650
My SAT I's are pretty weak, so I will probably just use my ACT scores instead.

SAT2:
Biology: 780
US history:750

ACT:
English:35
Math:28 (I REALLY messed this one up on testing day)
Reading:33
Science: 35
Essay:9
I'm definitely retaking the ACT because I messed up math. If I don't mess that up again, I will probably expect to get a 34/35 on the whole thing.

EC:
This is the one category that I feel really weak in. I don't have much, but senior year I will try to do more stuff.
Anyway, here's the list:
Worked at the library one summer, and at a documentary arts program another summer.
Oregon Outdoor School counselor for two consecutive years.
Plan on running a marathon in a few months.
During my senior year I will be getting an internship somewhere, likely the University of Arizona, hopefully working on something space-related.
That's about it for ECs, they're really terrible I know, and I think it's a long shot, but tell me what you think, please.

Anybody want to help me out? Please?

Your chances are low. SAT and GPA look to be on the weak side but the EC’s look really really weak. Cornell will be an extreme reach for you.

Is the GPA weighted or unweighted, Since you say you’ve taken mostly Honors and AP, I’m assuming it’s unweighted (or that your school doesn’t weight). It looks like close to a 3.8 over three years, If this is unweighted, it’s probably average for Cornell admittees. The SATs are maybe a bit below the average of Cornell’s reported numbers. If you can get the ACT to 34-35, definately use that.

ECs – they are a bit weak. Do you have any significant non-school activities? How do you spend your free time.

Coming from AZ will probably work in your favor.

Overall, tough to gauge because of the ECs. As it stands, high match-low reach.

@zephyr15 Yeah, my GPA is unweighted. I’m also planning on improving my EC this year, but there’s only so much I can do this late into High School. I exercise a lot in my free time, mainly running and strength training, but I’m not on any teams, mainly because my school doesn’t really offer anything (we’re really preppy). There aren’t many clubs at my school, either.

Unsolicited advice –

If exercise and weight training is your thing, and it doesn’t otherwise show up on your application, find a way to work it in. Maybe an Essay, (your first marathon, and the years it took to train for it?) Some way to show your dedication.

Yeah, I’ve already started on Essays, and I’m pretty strongly favoring the ones that I’ve done about running above all of my other very rough drafts.

Your GPA and your AP, SAT II, and ACT (except the math section) scores are all very strong! However, in order to balance out your (no offense) incredibly weak ECs you’re going to need to write one heck of an essay!! I’d say high target/ low reach! I’m no expert though!

Best of luck!
