<p>with your ECs you might want to narrow them down to jsut the most important and the most significant
The only thing that keeps me form telling you you'vr got a pretty good chance is the average among those SAT IIs of yours...
you need to have an average in the 700s
your GPA is great but you might want to raise those SAT scores above the berkeley average which is 1350 I believe
I'm sayingyou could be let in with incredible essays butretake those tests and try to establish a mission other than the average yearbook and newspaper
try starting up a book drive and handling all of it or something, something unique and significant
don't be discouraged becuase you have a shot, just try to get that shot above par so you're not at a 50/50 chance
REMEMBER YOU'RE OUT OF STATE LIKE ME
so you have to be BETTER than the average in-stater

<p>whoa... 6 AP classes in one year? My advice is be careful not to kill yourself. You've got a good GPA and EC's. That's awesome, because nobody can fix those. Good job!</p>

<p>I say you're still a reach even though you're black because you're out of state. If the adcoms read your app in context with all the other apps, you're slightly above average for the instaters. But, good luck!</p>

<p>You're halfway between good match/reach, probably depends on your essay on why attending Berkeley is important for you. However, I can guarantee you that you will enjoy Berkeley if you do make it in more than any other schools out there. </p>

<p>The cool thing about Berkeley is that Berkeley has no problems accepting alpha black/asian/hispanic males (like the rest of ivies do). Remember that. Good luck.</p>
