What do you guys think as one my advisors?

Using your SAT score, I think you have a realistic shot at all the schools on your list, including your reach schools. You will definitely get a nice little bump for being a female Engineering applicant. Definitely apply to Cornell. Heck, you might even consider taking a shot at MIT-- they LOVE their tech-y female applicants!!

try MIT no wayyyy

MIT is definitely a long shot, but you are leaving some really good Engineering schools on the table by NOT applying to them. You have a very good list overall but you might want to re-consider applying to Tufts and instead give Duke, Northwestern, and Rice a shot-- all better rated MechE schools than Tufts. If money is not a factor (OOS public tuition), UMichigan and Georgia Tech have awesome MechE depts. I’m assuming you want to stay more to the East (Rice being the biggest exception). We’re from CA and if my S didn’t get accepted to UCBerkeley for MechE, he would have gone to UMichigan. If you prefer smaller schools, than look at the original suggestions: Duke, Northwestern, and Rice. Good luck!

yes I want to stay in the Northeast Area. my reasons for not applying to those colleges is that its too far in my standards…i wanna be close to home but at the same time but not too close but ill reconsider THANK U

do you know any good safety for me…other than macaulay city college?
