I love Penn...it's my dream school, and I'm being very positively optimistic right now. I am African with CR 650, M 720, W 710 but I wrote SAT once in 11th grade at age 14. In 12th grade, age 15, I wrote SAT2, Math1 800, Math2 800, Physics 720. I told Penn about the regional math and spelling contests I had participated in (3 or 4 of them in which I came 1st, 2nd or 3rd or thereabout) and the national olympiads. I passed all three rounds of the National Olympiad and was part of the country's six-member International Math Olympiad 2012 team in Amsterdam. I told Penn that I was the editor of a school magazine "Dr. Math" which I publish weekly, and my essays were candid if not unflattering where I discussed that I would miss high school but look forward to my new beginning (uni), that I love writing (my dad PUBLISHES books, I LOVE writing books). I told them about the book I wrote in grade 4 called "the cries of emeka" which I threw away. My "Why Penn" essay was odd. I tried to be honest...and was...and said that I knew I could gain so much from penn, but as for what i could give....well, I said apart from my literary and mathematical skills, I hope to add a bit of me. I said, "every individual adds a little bit of something to the university he gets into". That's about the scope of it.

Your application sounds solid and unique. As long as your grades are good, I think you might have a shot.
