what are my chances?

is case mainly caucasian?
and is it really 63% male ?

Yes but there's quite a decent number of other groups there, most notably of Asian descent. A lot of it likely has to do with the fact that a great percentage of the campus seems to have come from small Midwestern towns etc.

Don't doubt it for a second. It is worth noting, however, that it varies by class: the freshman this year don't have as great a disparity but my class has as much as a 75% one, for example.

oh ic, someone told me that being a girl boosts ur chances [ similar to carnegie mellon etc ] where they're trying to balance out the male/female ratio.

Heh I'm sure they're trying to balance it and I doubt they ever will. Admissions-wise at Case though it will never hurt you to be either gender and that alone won't help you, it might give you an edge depending on what department you want to go into... for example comp sci has maybe one girl a year so if you were interested in that it might help you out (premed/ BME, on the other hand, is about 50/50 so gender definetely wouldn't matter).

ohh ok ...damn i just wanna get into case cause its my 2nd choice, i applied ED2 to vandy but chances are like below 10% for me cause of my low STats, i liked CASE in that it gives a lot of importance to extra currics, something that i hav > <

bump......

any other comments?

Sup I'm applying to Case and I'm ethicnally indian too but I grew up in the U.S. I'm also planning to do pre-med and Case is one of my top choices.

blah im scared. i have a feeling im going to end up at rutgers lol
