I'm going to be a transfer student as a Sophomore. Currently my GPA is a 2.81 with 31 credits. Before I transfer I will have 43 credits. What are my chances of getting into computer science program?

Hey Maddie,

Please refer to our Undergraduate Admissions webpage to view the criteria we generally look for in a transfer applicant: [Stony Brook University Undergraduate Admissions](http://www.stonybrook.edu/ugadmissions/applying/trans_criteria.shtml)

Please keep in mind that there are additional requirements for programs within the College of Engineering & Applied Sciences, which is where our computer science program falls.

Hi Meg, thanks for replying. I have read the requirements website. It states that I need to have a 3.0 or higher but I currently don’t. Do I still have a slight chance of being accepted?
