What Are My Chances?

<p>Hi. I'm an African American female... I'm in a special science and technology program in my school and I know I have pretty terrible stats but what are my chances of getting into Cornell?</p>

<p>You don’t have terrible stats, the 1710 is going to hurt you so try to bring that up as much as you can. And remember, Cornell is not going to just accept the 2400’s. That would make for a boring student body. So, what becomes important is what you can bring to the table. I think you have a unique application, and descent stats. Your chances are based on: What school you apply to, if its a NYS school then are you a NYS resident, and how much you can raise your SAT.</p>

<p>You should also take ACT. Some students do much better on ACT test. If you raise your scores you have a chance.</p>

<p>Thank you for all the help! I actually got into Duquesne’s Doctor of Pharmacy Program (I am a HS senior now but in 6 years, I will be a pharmacist) with $18,000/year scholarship! </p>
