do i have any chance?

chance for what haha

What college within Cornell?

college of agriculture and life sciences

what major? In CALS you apply directly to one specific major. Biological Sciences?

I have similar stats. Chances for AEM?

Applied economics and management

Lol, yes I want to know too.
Bump.

Both our our kids have been looking at ILR and several of the majors within CALS. There is some data that may answer these questions in a portion of the comnmon data set on the Cornell website. Also, there is admissions rate info by school ( NY and other) I found yesterday that gives an interesting picture about admit rates. Am still looking for actual SAT/ACT numbers, though. If I can find more specific info. I will post. Our S/D have very similiar stats to blahhh90- so it will be interesting to see what I can discover. Our college counselor ( private prep school in Atlanta) says local private school data for Atlanta shows SAT scores of 1400-1500- I disagree since each college/school at Cornell looks at different things.....I think.

475 views and no straight answer?

here is a very straight answer - NO ONE on this board works as an admission officer, or if they did, they would NOT admit it!! So, yes, you have a chance. How good? Who knows!!

Compare your stats with the admission stats listed on the Cornell website and see where you fit in...are you in the range? At the top of the range? At the bottom?

Then, figure out what makes you special...there is surely something that you do/are that is not like everyone else...then figure out how to convey this in your essay...and why/what at Cornell needs this something of yours or why you need Cornell...

good luck.

God, I hate chances threads.
