Does your school have a lot of APs? Because imo you don’t have as rigorous a course load as one would expect with applicants to these schools. But still your extracurriculars are pretty good, so you can’t rule out anything…

My Opinions
WF: Waitlist
Furman: Accepted, similar scores to my cousin who goes there
UNC: Denied

But hey what do I know?

My school doesn’t offer any underclassmen AP classes. I wasn’t able to take AP Bio or AP Chem because you have to take it as an honors class as the pre requisite. The only other AP’s that are available that I’m not taking are APES but I have to take chem next year to graduate and AP calc BC but I cannot take that. My school doesn’t offer AP psych but I’m taking that online just to give me a boost. Since my school is smaller I am at a disadvantage of not being able to take a bunch of AP’s.

My Opinion:

-Wake Forest University: Likely acceptance (I’d say around 60%), depending on your actual SAT score
-Furman University: Accept (Around 70-75%)
-UNC Chapel Hill: Reject (If you don’t hit the 1400 in SAT, I’d say it’s less than 20%)

I’d love to help you with possible college choices, but for that I’d need your preferences on location and several factors.

I actually just recalculated my GPA after my meeting with my counselor and it’s actually 4.55. I don’t know if that makes a big different.

I’d prefer to stay in the south east but other than that I’m pretty open to any factors when it comes to different colleges.
