I’m not really sure what I’m looking for in a school so any recommendations would be great. Anyway the schools I’m applying to as of now are:
William and Mary
Boston College
Amherst

Cornell

Are your parents okay with paying $280,000 for four years of university? If not, then you need to run the NPC on each of the schools that you are applying to and make sure that your parents are okay with the result. Be aware that if you might major in a field that needs a Master’s or other graduate work, then it might be better not to use up all of your college funds in the first 4 years.

You probably should also list your safeties, because most of the list that you have provided (everything past the first two) are probably reaches or high reaches.

I am sort of curious regarding what you want in a school. As one example, to me Amherst College and U. of Chicago are very different from each other. Chicago and Georgetown are in big cities. Amherst and Cornell are in small towns. Cornell gets buckets of snow, W&M gets very little, … Have you visited each of these?

I haven’t visited and won’t have the opportunity to before applications are due so that’s why my range is so broad. I don’t want to list my safeties because they reveal where I live and I would rather not put that on here. Generally I’m just looking to see if there are any other schools within my range that I should be looking into and if I’m completely insane for trying to apply to these schools (because I very well might be).

Bump (please I need help)

“if there are any other schools within my range that I should be looking into”

Given your stats, there are at least hundreds of universities and colleges that you would have a good chance to get into and that would seem like reasonable matches from an academic point of view. The problem is knowing where to start in terms of making suggestions.

For me being from New England UMass Amherst and UVM seem like obvious choices. Noting your interest in theater and that you know some French Bishop’s University in Quebec is a good small school that would be an affordable safety (no French is needed to go there, but some might make the surrounding area more interesting). Given that you have listed Williams (which is a reach IMHO) there are other LACs in New England that you could consider and hundreds across the US.
