I have a 3.3 (Unweighted) GPA, 1540 SAT, and a 34 ACT. My extra curricular activities were way above average (4 leadership positions mostly related to science, over 100 hours of community service, etc). I have also taken the most AP and Honors classes that are available. Do I have any chance of getting into a top 25 school?
Of course you do. With such strong stats and impressive ECs you are definately a very competitve applicant. Make sure to write great essays! Best of luck! Very good stats, but the top 25 schools are very competitive. The 25th school on the list is USC,which had a 13% acceptance rate this year. These schools are also very GPA based, so your 3.3 Unweighted is not very competitive compared to applicants that will be applying to these types of schools. Although your test scores and EC’s are something to be very proud about. My advice to you is to focus on what you want to study for college, and pick a school that you feel best fits you. Good luck
