Boston University
Cornell University
McGill University
Yale University (I know it is an absolute and impossible reach, however, it has been my dream school since i was 5 so i have unfounded hopes)

thank you very much for your time!!

PD: if you see another profile that says i took 2400 in the SAT it was a friend of mine.. just kidding!!

You'll want to boost your SAT score if possible. The GPA is rather low, which hurts you the most -while not that many non-americanized hispanics have over 1900, many that apply to the top universities do. Also, although that isn't as big a deal, it still is slightly harder for international applicants, generally. Your GPA doesn't compare to your applicant pool.

Look to emphasize the ECs and recs, if you can't raise your academics. The essay, in particular, will be huge for you. I understand that it might be harder for you, not coming from an English background, but focus on writing.

Chicago places huge emphasis on that, both in testing how well you write and how unique/how much of a match you are for them.

It's a huge reach at Yale. Chicago's still a reach -although every school considers academics first and foremost, they often admit people that are matches for them as a person. Prove that you fit through the essay and application.

All those schools will be reaches for you, actually, except Boston University -I'd say that's a match. Michigan will be a slight reach, they're also getting huge numbers of applications flowing in.

I think you have a decent chance at all the schools. Not necessarily great, but at least apply. Your GPA and SAT reasoning and subject are both low but what's really going to hurt you is your low GPA more so than your SAT scores. I met someone at Yale with an SAT in the low 1900's and he got into Harvard and Yale. No legacy or anything but URM.
