<p>I've been doing a lot of thinking and contemplatingg and i would like your opinion on whether Claremont Mckenna could be the school for me?</p>
<p>i'm a 3.65 gpa student (unweighted)
about 2100 sat
sat 2's above 700
first generation college bound student
divorced parents: one low-income mom, and one no income dad (he ain't paying for NUTHIN) </p>
<p>i don't want to make a list, but i have a good deal of leadership experience, but i don't know how significant it is. i am very involved in school and church</p>
<p>i have had a tutoring job and i am currently helping out a cafe owner by publicizing and etc. </p>
<p>i'm outgoing, not afraid to approach or ask questions (same thing as outgoing)
i try to be as genuine as possible... i'm an optimist who loves everyone.. ahhahaha (i know sounds gross, but i love you too!) </p>
<p>i'm looking to stay in california, but still get a decent education as my parents can't afford for me to be too far away from home.. :( </p>

<p>Unfortunately, unless you have amazing connections to the school or have an AMAZING extra curricular, you will be rejected. CMC is such a small school that takes I believe 200-300 kids while a few thousand apply that they only take the cream of the crop. To be frank, no one at my school got in. This is including one peer who had a 4.0 uw, 2100, 800, 770, and another who ha da 3.9 uw and a 2330, 800, 800. The school takes too few ppl for them to stretch out and accept you because ur gpa is a tad low and ur sat is around what they take.</p>
