I'd speculate you'll get in. You provide for a major need of Lehigh. Good luck.

Hello Whistle Pig thanks for responding, but what exactly is the major need of lehigh? are you refering to my major ? maybe im reading it wrong..

Lehigh would probably like to attract more female engineers as well as more African-Americans. Are you planning to run track at Lehigh as well? If so, and if you think you would be competitive, talk to the coaches. That would give you another edge.

Early Decision is also good move--if Lehigh is truly your dream school.

well yes i have contacted the coach but for the most part my times are pretty average and they have a great team going, so as far as getting recruited i dont think it'll happen. But hopefully early decision will give me an edge. thanks momwaitingfornew! Any other suggestions??

I think it's so desirable now for schools to attract bright young women into math and science that you have very good chances of getting in.

Visit, interview, and make yourself memorable through your essays. Make sure that you choose teachers for your recommendations who really know you well. If you have had any leadership positions, highlight them as well.

thanks again for your replys!

does anyone else have any suggestions/comments?
