What are my chances?

High School:
Rank: 3 out of 555
UW: 3.91
W: 4.84
SAT: 1370 out of 1600
E/C's: Not great, not horrible.

College:
School: large, state-funded, public school... not prestigious, not too easy.
GPA: 3.87

I know the given information is not sufficient to determine whether or not I will be accepted or rejected, but what do ya'll think my chances are for Georgetown, UPenn, Vanderbilt, and Cornell?

Thanks!

upenn - reach
all the rest - you have a shot

what’s your major?

Thank you so much for your input! And engineering.

I know these threads get old, but any more thoughts?

Take ACT and submit ACT but not SAT. With good ACT scores and your present stats, you’ll be competitive everywhere.

Thanks for the advice. It is too late to retake the ACT, but I am retaking the SAT in January just in case.

Any other thoughts? :)

possible match for everything but the very best ivy schools

Thanks! My school of choice is Georgetown. What do ya’ll think my chances are for Georgetown in particular? I am applying to the Georgetown College.

wait what school are you coming from because that may make a difference. Otherwise I think you should be good to go for gtown. Like everyone else said the only thing holding you back is your SAT score.

I am currently at Virginia Tech and applying as a sophomore.

Any other thoughts or suggestions?

You have a good shot at all these schools
