<p>Hello! I'm new to the forum. I'm still finishing up some applications, but i have most of them complete. What are my chances?</p>

<p>I'm applying to:
San Diego State
CSU Long Beach (Already accepted)
Syracuse University
Hofstra University
USC
Northeastern University
University of Miami
Emerson
Boston University
NYU</p>

<p>I didn't do well in high school, which is why i opted for transferring.</p>

<p>High School:
Average GPA: 3.2
SAT: 1600
President of Photo club, Member of InnerKey club</p>

<p>College:
GPA: 3.65
Units: 62
Staff writer for school newspaper</p>

<p>How do i look? I don't know if most of the schools are a shoe-in or not a chance hahaha...</p>

<p>For all the schools, i’m applying for a Public Relations major.</p>

<p>But for NYU im applying to the TISCH School of Recorded Music. Kinda a shot in the dark seeing they only accept 10% of applicants, but i’m still going to try!</p>

<p>Hofstra is a back-up in case i don’t get in anywhere.</p>

<p>Why, is it a bad school? I live in Northern California and know NOTHING about any of the schools i applied too.</p>

<p>hahaha why did you apply there then? hofstra’s a local school for kids who don’t get in anywhere better (for C - B average students). it’s also hella expensive, so i really wouldn’t bother with it.</p>

<p>Just got my acceptance to University of Miami! Which i hear is a hard school to get into, no?</p>

<p>Still waiting for 8 of the other ones tho!</p>

<p>If you want to do PR at NYU, that’s in Media/Communications in Steinhardt. Steinhardt also has a much better rate for transfers.</p>
