3.77 UW
4.45 W</p>
<p>*Class Rank: Top 5%</p>
<p>*SAT'S: 1840
M: 610
V: 580
W: 650 w/ a 10 on the essay</p>
<p>*Planning to retake SAT's in October and recent prep suggests a projected score around 2000.</p>
<p>*AP's:
- AP Statistics (4)
- AP Calc BC
- AP Chem
- AP Lang</p>
<p>**2 or 3 more AP's for senior year</p>
<p>*All honors courses in math, english, science, history throughout high school.</p>
<p>*4 years of foreign language (Spanish)</p>
<p>*EC's:
Devoted most of my time to:
- Speech team
- Writer for school paper </p>
<p>*Significant Achievements:
- County finalist for speech team tournament in extemp. speaking
- First place award in county technology challenge competition
- National honor society member
- Honor roll all throughout high school
- Various awards attained throughout hs</p>

- Approximately 150 Hours throughout HS </p>

<li>University Park has a minimum SAT in order to be considered for admission. I'm not quite sure what it is, but it's close to your score. If you beat it, though, you're in.</li>

<p>I really appreciate the responses, btw do you think i should add some "reach" colleges to my list....guess i'm being cautious with my selections.</p>
<p>Well it looks like you want to go into communications or something like that. Maybe Northwestern and Columbia? I'd recommend GW as another match.</p>
<p>If you're even vaguely interested in politics I would recommend GW's Political Communications major. My sister is doing it - she was originally interested in communications, and then decided to go to GW for the opportunities and all, and ended up falling for politics. Political Communications is a combination of Political Science, Electronic Media (I think?), and Journalism.</p>
