I want to study Architecture, and I've heard that GT has a good program. I'm currently a high school sophomore with a 4.0 GPA (UW), and my ACT score is 30. I'm in all advanced classes and next year I will be in 2-3 AP classes also. So, what are my chances of getting in?

That’s great Scores and GPA for GTech. You have great Chances. Just maintain your GPA!

Are you refering to the early admission program for high school juniors?

I applied for that this year and got in and my stats are very similar to yours, so I think you are going to get in.

I had taken 6 AP classes when I applied (including those I was in at the time).
I also had a 4.0 (apparently this is EXTREMELY important for Tech admissions). Don’t let it drop!!!
SAT: 2260 Try taking the ACT again and raise it a few points. You can boost your chances and maybe get some scholarships.
Essay: I wrote mine on how high school just wasn’t cutting it for me and I am ready to move on. I think this helped them see why I was interested in Tech.

Obviously something worked because I got in. You don’t have to be a genius, just be focused on academics and show Tech that you are ready for the challenge.

Good luck!!!

so far you only should have 1 1/2 semesters of official grades,so you cannot be accurately chanced!don’t worry about getting accepted to college right now and just maintain a good GPA, do extracurriculars you like, and hang out with your friends and come back before your senior year for a more accurate chance.
