What are my chances?

<p>I'm looking to go to law school after I graduate from UCSB. I have a 3.7 and haven't taken the LSAT yet. My main concern is that I got a C+ during my first quarter at school. How much negative effect does this C+ have on my chances of getting into law school? These are the law schools I'm looking to get into:</p>

Loyola
Pepperdine</p>

<p>Forget the C+. Your GPA puts you at the 75th percentile at USC, and higher than that for Pepperdine and Loyola. Your chances depend a great deal on your LSAT, but you're well on track with respect to your grades.</p>
