Law School Admissions Chances/Where to Apply

Hi, I was wondering if I could get some feedback about law school admissions - where I should apply and where you guys think I have the best chances of getting in.

I'm currently a senior about to graduate with a BA in political science at UC Santa Barbara.

I have a 3.86 GPA, was a member of the honors program and a few clubs. I've also been working at a restaurant for 2 years and was promoted to manager/supervisor within the last 6 months.

I am taking the LSAT in October and will be preparing vigorously over summer, I was getting practice scores at mid to low 160s but plan to score upper 160s low 170s after prep.

I will also be doing an unpaid internship this summer at a local firm.

I am thinking of applying to UC Davis, UC Berk, UCLA, USC, UC Hasting, Univ of Washington, and possibly even Univ of Chicago, Boston University, and Stanford if I do well enough on the LSATs.

Let me know what you guys think and what other schools I should possibly apply to.

You need a real LSAT score before you can come up with a list of schools.

well lets say I hypothetically score 165. i really just want a general idea

Chicago, Berkeley, and Stanford would be out.

For a rough estimate, see http://www.lawschoolpredictor.com/wp-content/uploads/Law-School-Predictor-Full-Time-Programs.htm

Law School predictor’s pretty cool, but I prefer the “real live” results examples of: [Welcome to LawSchoolNumbers.com | Law School Numbers](http://www.lawschoolnumbers.com) and [Law school rankings & research - See your admissions chances at all ABA law schools | AdmissionsDean.com](http://www.admissionsdean.com). Best of luck to you!
