What are my chances?

If you need lots of aid, study this chart very carefully. Choose schools from this list that cater to internationals and may be interested in the things you have to offer them. Look carefully at the amount of aid given and the number of internationals on the campus. Schools in the Midwest are cheaper than those on the coasts. Your best deals will be there. Remember all the costs have risen since 2003.

For example:
Western Michigan University MI costs $18 838. It has 947 international students of those 113 are getting an average aid package of $16 589 which is 88% of costs and the cost to the student per year is $2 249. Broken down WMU charges $10 255 in tuition and $8 583 for housing. That is a great deal but I have no idea what the school is like. Putting a school like that down as a safety will get you to the states to begin college no matter what else happens with the more prominent/desirable schools where you might apply. You can always transfer.

And don't forget Canadian schools. They are much cheaper than in the states. Don't forget Scottish schools. Dundee University has some decent programs and it is affordable.

I don't want to go in Canadian schools.
