What are my changes of getting into NCSSM?

I am a 9th grade student in CD 12 (Charlotte area) and know my courses for next year.

9th Grade Courseload:

I have heard that the Charlotte area is super competitive (just under Raleigh/Cary area), but your stats are really good but it really depends on your SAT/ACT scores. Also, I recommend research or community service to increase your chances.

Hello. I am currently in 8th grade and I have planned my freshman and sophomore courses. I don’t have a ton of ecs but I am going deeper into them (a lot of people advised me quality over quantity.) I wanted to know if I was good enough for NCSSM, as I’ve had my heart set on it for a while lol. I live in CD4, which is quite competitive.
