I am a Sophomore in Louisiana at a public school. Last year I finished with a cumulative GPA of a 3.5. This year, they have decided to weight the grades, with tests counting for 40% of your grades, so things are a bit tougher. MY GPA bounces back and forth right now between a 3.1 and 3.4. I don't plan to ever let it go below a 3.0. As for ACT, I have only taken it one time before, getting a 20. I will take it again this year, and next year I plan to take a prep course for it, so I expect it to go up. I am in one club this year, Key Club. I plan to probably join one more next year. I would like to go in state, to ULL (University of Louisiana Lafayette). As of right now, what are my chances of getting in?

Low match for now, but if you can really hold your promise of getting your GPA at 3.0+ at all times, an ACT score of 23+ will clinch the sale.

UNO (University of New Orleans) is also a school I am very interested in.

UNO is a low match too.

Well, as of right now I am not too worried. I am pretty positive I can easily keep my GPA above a 3.0 at all times, which is slightly above average, and getting my ACT score up a few points is something that I think I can accomplish after taking the test a few more times.
