I just completed my second semester at broward college and have earned 28 credits so far, and will have 44 by the end of the summer. I am expecting to have a 4.0 GPA overall, and I will be attending Santa Fe in the fall to complete my associates degree. I was wondering if I should consider going to schools out of state, because UF seems to be the best option for my major (computer science). I would appreciate some guidance.

What will UF cost you? If the price is reasonable, and they have a good program in your major, it’s a great choice. Plus, you will be able to start making friends in Gainesville this fall, and that could ease your transition.

I have prepaid at UF, but my parents won’t let me consider that to decide where I want to go to school. To be honest, I just don’t want to get in anywhere easily. If my chances of getting into UF are so high, I must have at least some chance of getting into a more prestigious school.

If UF seems like the best option for you major and you have prepaid there, it seems like that is the best option.
