I have been seeing people post their acceptances, but to what? USC as a whole, schools, or scholarships? I'm sorry if I sound dumb but I have been so out of the loop with acceptance stuff lately. Also, if you get accepted into a school, does this mean you are accepted to USC, and if you get a scholarship interview, does this more than likely mean you were accepted as well? Thanks!

Right now USC is starting to send out letters of admission, along with scholarship consideration letters for interviews, to applicants who applied by December 1st. Everyone who applied by Dec. 1 will get a letter, but only some will get admitted/scholarship consideration. Others will get a letter saying that they are still being considered for admission but not the big name scholarships, and will find out their admission decision April 1st. If someone gets the scholarship packet it means they are accepted

Thank you. So you are saying if I you applied by Dec. 1 you will get a letter, whether you got accepted/scholarships or they are still waiting?

Yes. Everyone who applied by December 1st will get a letter. No rejections are going out now, phew… :)

all of the above. USC, specific schools, and scholarships
