what are safety schools for me?

I'm an incoming senior with ~95 average at a very competitive high school. 2250 on SATs. Interest in pursuing technological-math related fields. Decent extracurriculars and honors. What are some good safety schools for me (in north east region of US; I live in NY)?

In addition to the schools that you suggest, would the following be considered safety schools for me? How many should I apply to?
- Fordham
- Pace
- CUNY (regular)
- SUNY bing, stony brook, albany, buffalo

For a school to be a safety, then you have to know FOR SURE that you have all costs covered thru ASSURED grants, ASSURED scholarships, small fed student loans, and/or family funds.

If you know for sure that your family will pay for Fordham and Pace, then they are safeties for you. If you don’t know how much your family will pay, then they are not. Same with the SUNYS, etc.

What good is a safety if you get accepted but can’t afford to go?

But, if your parents will pay $50k+ per year for wherever you go, then you’ll have lots of choices for safeties. :)

Living in NY you have some of the most affordable schools listed, and your admission chances are excellent for those listed.
