I want to get into Hunter college but I'm not sure Ill make it. I'm a junior going to senior year.
I just want some good college's to choose from I have a list but would like professional input.I appreciate any positive and constructive comments about where I should go. I'm thinking about something in the medical field but still deciding..maybe a liberal arts college.I really appreciate any commentary guys.Thank you.

Hunter: 100% match
In terms of LA schools, you could try Marist (in Poughkeepsie)
Union College (Schenectady NY)
Skidmore College (Saratoga Springs, NY)
St. Lawrence University (Canton, NY)
Hamilton College (Clinton, NY)
Colgate University (Hamilton, NY)
Vassar College (Poughkeepsie, NY)

Apply to SUNY’s, Buffalo, Binghamton, Stony and Albany
and NYU

Because your parents make less than 60k a year, you’ll be guaranteed for financial aid, probably full tuition in grants and scholarships and small loans. You’re in good shape

How about Fordham.

It is pretty highly ranked.

What are your SAT scores? I wouldn’t worry about Hunter, you seem like an ideal applicant.

I agree you should look at Fordham and the SUNYs. Are places like New Jersey and Connecticut too far for you? You have a pretty decent shot to get into a school like Rutgers.

I got a 1600 on my first SAT I’m retaking for a 2000 or something…and should I apply EOP?
I forgot to mention that I was manager of volleyball.

I am also taking AP psychology and some college now classes as well ACT and Subject Test.
Might join some other clubs

Joining clubs just for the sake of padding your resume isn’t a good idea. Focus on the activities you already have and try hard to bring up that SAT. A 2000 from a 1600 is unlikely, but you can probably get a 1900 if you studied really hard.

Alright thanks for the advice…I’m praying I do better…I might apply EOP and HEOP to some of my schools just in case the traditional method doesn’t work out.
