I want to be a doctor/engineer, and drastically improve modern prosthesis and do some work in cyborg-ism (weird I know). I also want to work on world preservation issues, thinking of efficient environmentally safe energy sources, and Help the world get closer to nature. I want to do some philosophy work to spread my vision on natural equality and respect for all life not just human (it’s not the whole vegan thing it’s different, but I don’t want to explain it right now). I also want to campaign for more equal education, and establish a new welfare system in America that deals with food and material stipends over money. I also want to make a nuclear fusion reactor.

I realize that this is way to much, and that I won’t be able to reasonably achieve a 10th of it (if that much). But I always like to dream big and hope for the best, however unlikely the dreams are.

I hope one day to be a very successful doctor. That is my dream, but somedays I believe God has much bigger plans for my life. So I guess…actually I know that all of my dreams and aspirations should be directed to fulfill God’s greatest purpose for my life. And I know that I may fall or get on the wrong path at times, but I pray that He guides me back to His heart every time.

My goal is to change the life of one person in a positive way. I really just want to inspire people, whether that means inspiring them to follow their dreams or follow Jesus, either would be GREAT for me.

I don’t know if I want to do anything specific (Like work for Peace Corps or something), but I want to teach high school kids. A lot of my teachers influenced me. c: Since they inspired me, I want to inspire them just as much to not commit the acts that happened in the past.

Oh, I want to teach history. : P And maybe sociology. I like it too much, but I want to take the class first…

Yeah.

I never wanted to be a pokemon master, though. Never played the games.

Aside from whatever career I pursue, I want to collaboratively create a freely-accessible online repository of rigorous high school curricula, complete with video lectures, syllabi, textbooks, automated tests, and all necessary tools to help any teacher to use the materials for teaching. This has two primary purposes:

To provide homeschooled and financially underprivileged students with competitive educational materials.

To decentralize academic education. If I follow through with this project, then there will basically be no rules governing its use or distribution. Anyone will be free to use or distribute it in any way they like, commercial or non-commercial. It’s my crypto-anarchical fascination coming through. :D

I don’t think I have much of a choice in life… (due to the whole objectification of humans in commodities thing) I guess I will have to sell myself like everyone else and increase my values by going to college. And to maximize my potential output (and thereby increasing my value), I’ll get a masters. Hopefully, I won’t have to compromise to the point where I’ll have to work for something I don’t believe in. I would like to join the peace corps after college. And then when I’ve earn enough money to obtain a limited freedom from the world of finance… I want to teach history at the boarding school I go to now and create a scholarship for girls that are underprivileged and make someone’s dream come true.

my dream, career-wise, is to be a foreign diplomat and work for the UN, or to be in a powerful position at a marketing firm. i’d also just like to make a bunch of money that i could use to travel.

I enjoy the wittiness of your joke and yet I believe that people should strive for the things and the only reason we strive and work is to get a little closer to the impossible. Yes, I’m a bit of an idealist:)

A physician working at/owning a private practice, who uses his computer science degree to conduct ongoing biocomputation/simulation research at a nearby university. <----not sure if this is even possible but whatevs

Or…If I suddenly lose intellectual curiosity and the will to help others, a well established career in finance/investments :)

To get into a good college, where I can spend four years learning and having fun.
Then going off to Sierra Leone to work with people who suffered from physical disabilities after the war. (My dream since like 8th grade) Work for a cool organization like Free the Children. Maybe go back to school.
mostly do good things and have fun doing it.
