I’m not in community college just yet, but I was wondering which schools don’t require standerized testing scores since top schools like MIT or Stanford do require them. Specifically top engineering programs.
UCs and CSUs do not require anything from high school (including SAT/ACT scores) for junior-level transfers (although certain high school items can optionally be used to satisfy low level requirements).
Since you do not want to submit your high school stats to a transfer college I assume that they are very poor. What will you be doing in community college that you didn’t do in high school that will get you admitted to a top tier school?
@TomSrOfBoston brings up a solid point. What makes you more attractive to colleges NOW than you were before.
Also, if you have a strong trend of improvement, submitting your high school transcript might not be as bad as it seems.
@TomSrOfBoston @foodeater my GPA is high (4.24/5) but my ACT/SAT scores aren’t good even after retakes (24/1190). I’m a senior now, and everything seems like its too late. There are some “lower tier” colleges that have accepted me and even one with a 30k scholarship but going to CC will be free because of a certain program that I qualify for, thats why I asked the question.
