What are the 3 hardest AP classes and tests?

AP Physics C
AP Computer Science AB
AP Chemistry

For me AP Spanish was insanely difficult.
For one, the listening section has people with various hard to understand accents, the vocabulary on all sections is advanced, they go out of their way to trick you on the reading section, and they essentially make you give an oral presentation with 2 minutes of preparation (this year the topic was the Spanish language- go figure!). It was my least favorite Cinco de Mayo ever!
I seriously freaked out when I found I got a 5.

US History - since it really only covers, what, 250 years? you’re forced to memorize ridiculously insignificant worthless little details (such as what crops the Susquehannock grew or the main plot of The Grapes of Wrath) for the exam instead of learning general trends and ideas. Europe offers a much richer and deeper history so that class focuses more on critical thinking and less on rote memorization, or so I’d assume (I’ve never taken it).

I thought Calculus (AB) and Spanish Language (I’m not a native speaker) were simple. I would say English Language is one of the hardest, considering the knowledge of current events, history, etc., that is often necessary in essays.

For me, AP Spanish was ridiculous. I just couldnt get it. I thoughy BIO was relatively easy to get a 4on, but hard to get a 5 on. and AP Lang was really easy as long as you have a knack for essays

AP calc
AP physics
AP lit
my opinion

AP Government (Comparative) - not really sure where they came up with the questions, because half of it didn’t come from the class or review books, for which there aren’t money to begin with =</p>

From personal experience I gotta say
AP CHEM
AP (any language your not native speaker to)
All the rest.

It really is dependent on your preferences – AP Language is the only set of tests I find terrifically scary. AP Physics is certainly not easy for most people, but to those with a pretty good teacher, it’s actually super easy. You need to be taught to think on the level of a good college course, and then it becomes very simple.

Not AP USH

AP euro pwned my ass =S.

wrong forum?

Actually, APCS AB is okay if u practice and use Barrons. but they don’t offer it anymore, so hey.

The 3 hardest in my opinion (haven’t taken all of these):

Physics
US/Euro History
Language

I don’t see how so many people thought APUSH was a difficult test. Out of the 4 AP tests I took junior year, APUSH was probably my easiest.

i’m thinking they’re all hard…esp. the languages! and calculus.
but its also situational…i’ve been rubbish at math for as long as i can remember…i mean i’ve always managed a B since algebra in middle school but some really crap teachers and a right-brain personality and a bunch of other excuses messed me up.
in short, that calculus exam was…brutal.

the AP language & comp was my favorite, because i was in my comfort zone…not to say it wasn’t challenging far from it!..but english is my passion and i can expect myself to do well even if i have horrible study habits where i don’t…study…that doesn’t mean that i didn’t slack off though lol seriously…i failed the last quarter and managed a C because i had done so well the whole year…not my finest hour =(

the APUSH exam was easier and harder than i thought at the same time…all through the year i overestimated myself because history i feel is so straight-forward that i started inflating my head…and then i stopped studying. and then i got to the ap exam and got all the colonial stuff through but then it was constitution and judicial stuff. i ended up with a 3…

so what happened was i got senioritis…premature senioritis…its the worst kind…because the excuses for it are sorry…and i’m stupid…

that was me venting about myself by the way…

you better redeem yourself senior year, self.
=]

You can’t really judge the classes as they vary with each school. My AP Bio class was a joke, and I messed around on my test, and still got a 4.

In terms of test difficulty,

Any of the languages (unless of course you’re a native speaker.)

Calc BC

Physics

From what I have gathered all over:

 1. Latin Literature (I took this one and it was a BEAST)
 2. Studio Art (Sounds like a hard one)
 3. Music Theory (You really need to know music)

AP Physics C
AP Computer Science AB
AP Chemistry

I took both AP Spanish Lang & Lit, and I didn’t think they were too difficult (I’m not a native speaker). I think the problem with AP languages is that you really need to have excellent teachers, and teaching a language is probably the most difficult subject to teach.

top 3 for me in no particular order
Italian (1 for sure)
German (1 for sure)
French (1 for sure)
not knowing all the european languages sucks

I completely agree with Mathboy98. I had a great teacher for Physics C Mech. and it ended up being the easiest AP test for me. The only really hard part was keeping the upwards of 20 formulas straight for the mc section.
