Hey AP students, what is the most difficult exam you have taken?

Hello everyone. I hope everyone did well on there exams last week :D

Tie between French and Physics C, E&M

Nothing’s been excruciatingly hard so far…

Chemistry?

Microeconomics

English Literature by FAR, with Lang in second.

Definitely Spanish Language, seeing as I’m a non-native.

Was it just me, or was the Chem exam disproportionally hard? None of my classmates were confident about their scores…

I thought the Latin and English-Lit APs were extremely hard. Chem, Bio (with the exception of one frq about embryonic development-- I am an aspiring molecular biologist/chemist and know NOTHING about embryonic differentiation, also my teacher focuses on molecular bio and we never talked about that), AB and BC Calc, and Physics C E&M were really easy. But that’s just me.

Of the 6 that I have taken (Chemistry, Calculus BC, English Lit, US Gov, Physics B, US History), English Lit and Physics B tied. They were from 2 different years, so I think I would have made Physics B runner up if I took it senior year

I’ve taken AP Human Geography (2010), AP World History (2011), AP US History (2012), AP Biology (2012), and AP English Language & Composition (2012). AP World History has been the hardest overall. However, just in 2012, I would say English Lang? Not to be pretentious, but none of my 2012 exams were particularly challenging.

PHYSICS B. I’m not gonna lie. It made me cry.

Funny, I thought AP Lit & Lang were among the easiest.

@BlasterNT: Cross your fingers. If you and all of the people in your school thought it was hard (along with most in mine – there are those that choose to remain optimistic, though), the curve might be in our favor.

As of 2008, it hovers at around a 100/150 for a 5. Perhaps it’ll drop to a 95-99/100 with all other scores falling by a proportionate amount.

This year I took:
Environmental Science
Art History
Calculus BC
English Literature and Composition
European History
Biology
Physics B
Government
Comparative Politics
English Language and Composition
Macroeconomics
Microeconomics
Human Geography
World History
Computer Science
Chemistry
Physics C Mechanics
Physics C Electricity and Magnetism

I haven’t taken the last five yet, but so far, I think the hardest were Art and European History, considering I self-studied and am not very good at history.

AP Art History, while I enjoy it, can be very difficult for some non-humanities people. It can be best summarized as AP World on crack. So many names, historical events, movements, dates, and places go into knowing how to score high on the AP Art History test.

Emily556 just wondering are you a junior? And share your thoughts on Chemistry and Physics C  because I’m taking those next year.

Chemistry and then physics B.

Yes, I am a junior!

and I will for sure do that as soon as I take them (thursday and friday). To be honest, I’m scared though haha.

I thought was AP French Language and Culture was the hardest for me.

@daesung - When I took the AP Chem test (May 14th), I was really pressed for time in the Free-Response section. The test seem to touch upon every major topic in Chemistry.

@Emily556 Haha I was just wondering since your taking so many ap exams and people usually take a lot during their junior year. And good luck!!! Are you late testing? And I’ll be nervous too next year D:

@TechnoMusic I see. Usually for me time isn’t a problem. Hope you did well! Were there like lots of details you needed to know or was like the general concept good enough. How was the MC?

AP chemistry was the most difficult for someone like me who can’t solve through things. I’m more of a person who can memorize.
