I am looking for test prep books for:

-ACT
-AP Chemistry
-AP Macroeconomics
-AP Spanish Language
-SAT Subject Test: Math 2
-SAT Subject Test: Chemistry
-SAT Subject Test: Spanish (w/Listening as well)
-SAT Subject Test: Biology M

Can you recommend to me the best books for each?

Many people say that you “can’t study for the ACT”, however, I do not believe that is true. There aren’t specific pieces of information to memorize for the Science Reasoning or Reading sections, but you can definitely study for the Math and English sections of the test. I recommend starting with Princeton Review’s “Cracking The ACT 2014 Edition”. This book covers key concepts, and it prepares you to take the test. The book also includes two relatively accurate practice tests (I still only take official ACT practice test; I don’t want to take an easy test an get my hopes up, or take a hard test and become irritated). After this, I recommend buying “The Real ACT Prep Guide”. It has five actual released ACT exams (VERY HELPFUL), and it also includes basic test-taking information. I used these two book, and I am taking the ACT tomorrow. I feel fairly confident that I will score at least a 30. Hope this helped. By the way, don’t buy from McGraw Hill for anything. They’re terrible. I’ve heard Kaplan is decent, but I have no experience. Barrons is incredibly difficult, but it may help prepare you.

Thanks! I bought a test book and got my scores and got a 31 without studying, so I’m hoping for a 34 or 35 after having studied for a long period of time

Dr. Chung’s Math II
Barron’s Math II
(???) The blue book for every subject test with like one or two practice tests per subject test (never used this, any insight anyone?)
I actually like Princeton Review / schoolisfun’s math ii guide (taken from sparknotes iirc) for review of topics and the others for the practice tests.
