What are the chances Admissions Officers from top schools check out CC forums?

<p>I am just wonderin'. A relative last year was admitted to a bunch of schools, some top tier ones. He was a bit freaked out that some of those schools had some pretty CC active admissions officers answering questions, checking things out.</p>

<p>But not all the schools appeared to have a presence. </p>

<p>I think it is great if admissions people make themselves available for answering questions, and maybe even calming some nerves!</p>

<p>The ones my relative said answered questions and seemed to help everyone were: William and Mary, Johns Hopkins and I think Rice. He didn't think there were any Ivy League or Stanford, MIT people though...wish they would show up!</p>

<p>Anyone know of any others?</p>

<p>Dean J from the University of Virginia is an active poster on that subforum. I do think it makes a big difference.</p>
