What are the chances for an international student requiring financial aid ?

I am an international student of Indian origin but studying in Dubai ( UAE) . I plan to apply to all Ivies and Stanford as well. . . No really great records in EC’s but want a career in Psycology .

Stats : SAT - 2367
TOEFL - 117
GPA - 10.0/10.0 ( IN GRADE 10 , 11

OTHERS :
2 PUBLISHED BOOKS - writting is my passion …
Often take part in voluntary social service

Sports : Swimming - State level

Lawn Tennis - District Level

I NEED FINANCIAL AID

I frequently have been told that i have no chance of getting anywhere , but still is there any possibility ??? Should I even apply ? What are my chances ?

Your academics are enough to put you in contention. But with ECs on that level, I think applying to Ivies might be aiming a little high. Definitely apply to more than just Ivy League schools and Stanford.

Don’t apply to all the Ivy’s just for prestige. You wouldn’t be suited to all of them; they’re each different in their own ways. Focus on personal fit rather than a “brand school”.

It is not possible to have a SAT score of 2367, leading me to suspect you have not yet given the SAT and are rather predicting your score, which you cannot do until you have given several official practice tests.

I think @jami189‌ may simply be averaging several SAT scores.

If so, we’d need the individual scores to really know what they’ll amount to.
